The Nufuel 2023 edition on european research into nuclear fuel will take place in Marseilles Vieux Port (France) on November 7-9, 2023. It is chaired jointly by Energy division of the French Atomic and Alternative Energy Commission (CEA/DES) the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission (JRC) and the Romanian Institute for Nuclear Research (RATEN).
The workshop serves as a unique occasion for the European community on nuclear fuel research to exchange and debate on the latest research results.
The NuFuel 2023 workshop will cover :
- Fuel Synthesis and Fabrication
- Irradiation Design and Preparation
- Post Irradiation Examinations
- Separate Effect Studies
- Modelling from the Atomic to the Mesoscale
- Thermodynamic Modelling
- Fuel Element Performance Simulation.
